Who Am I?

I am a United States-born and raised freelance wordsmith, photographer and professional snow skier. Now a citizen of the world, my place of residency is in the majestic beauty of Patagonia, Argentina -- giving me a wealth of lifestyle, luxury and tourism article possibilities.

I am a hard worker that is able to produce lively, intriguing, entertaining pieces always within the deadline needed.  I am an energetic, detail-oriented individual with a vast knowledge in many different areas.  I am also well-educated in the ability to interview, do research and fact check as needed for a great article.  I have been traveling the world since my teens and  have the background to write from many different view points.

Some of my areas of expertise include travel, Argentine hot spots, real estate in United States and Argentina, how to create and sell profitable businesses, using real estate to climb the ladder, running a wine vineyard, moving and living full time internationally, Argentine foreign residency, avalanche and snow science, wilderness medicine, emergency medicine,  big mountain skiing, guiding in the mountains (skiing and mountaineering), mountain bike racing, long distance road bike riding, competitive swimming, competitive water skiing, weight lifting, yoga, Pilates, health, international cuisine, dog training, soul and new age beliefs, massage, acupuncture, as well as writing teen and preteen non-fiction articles.

My interests also include volunteering with children, helping homeless animals, humanitarian efforts, environmental issues and human rights.

I am a graduate of Western Washington University and the Institute of Children's Literature; attended the University of Utah, United States Congress Youth Exchange Program (year long German exchange student) and writing courses with AWAI (American Writing and Artist Inc).  I am a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and have a major in German literature and a minor in pre-physical therapy.

My writings can be seen in such publications as International Living Magazine, Transitions Abroad, Curve Magazine, SheKnows.com, TravelersAnonymous.com, ArgentinasTravel.com and tenfootsquare.com. I am also an editor and writer for the only English newspaper in Patagonia, Black Sheep. I am versed in MS Word, Windows XP, HTML, blog, Quickbooks, Skype and OpenOffice.

My tools of the trade include a Toshiba Satellite Notebook, high quality digital camera, audio recorder, scanner and fax machine.  Though I live in Argentina I have a United States phone and fax number that is a California area code number yet rings in Argentina, allowing an easy ability to contact me.

I speak English, Spanish and German fluently.
